 Garblast is a natural, mineral universal sandblasting material.
 The main component is Australian almandine garnet which stands out as one of the hardest minerals with extraordinary sandblasting characteristics.
 Free of heavy metals or toxic components, Garblast meets all health and safety requirements. Garblast forms a perfect combination of optimum grain size, maximum density and great hardness. This guarantees optimum sandblasting quality combined with very low consumption and high output for safe working and environmental conditions.
 Thanks to its low consumption (kg/m2) and high output (m2/h) as well as the resulting low disposal costs, Garblast represents a more cost-effective alternative to quartz sand, slag blasting material or steel shot.
 Depending on the area of application, thanks to the fragmentation resistance of Australian almandine garnet, Garblast can be reused 4 to 10 times.

 Garblast abrasive is a natural chemically inactive product free of any toxic component and quartz. The use of Garblast guarantees economical sandblasting.

 Minimal dust development
 Sandblasting with Garblast abrasive means significantly less dust development due to the extraordinary resistance of the material. This characteristic, combined with the high specific weight of 4.1, makes Garblast a virtually dust-free sandblasting material.
 High sandblasting performance
 Compared to conventional sandblasting materials, the performance of Garblast abrasive is double.
 Very low consumption
 The great effectiveness of Garblast Abrasive means a consumption of sandblasting material reduced by up to 1/3.
 High surface quality
 The surface standard according to SA3 with a good surface profile of 50-75 microns is easily achieved.

 Abrasive Garblast is a reusable blasting material. Depending on the application, it can be reused 4 to 10 times without losing its high blasting performance. The disposal volume is also significantly reduced. If necessary, appropriate recycling systems can be proposed.
 Maximizing the blasting performance of Garblast abrasive
 For this purpose, you do not need expensive special equipment during sandblasting. You can achieve optimal performance by taking the following points into account:
 Abrasive flow control
 With Garblast abrasive, the blasting material requirement can be reduced by up to 1/3. To achieve this, the flow of blasting material at the abrasive valve must be minimized by first slowly opening the closed valve until the desired degree of cleanliness is achieved. For this, an adjustable valve or a Garblast abrasive valve / with fixed outlet port suitable for the respective jet nozzle is required.
 Air pressure
 Depending on the application, the air pressure measured at the nozzle should be between 5 and 7 bar. The air must be dry and free of oil. High air pressure and minimal flow of blasting material mean that the grain is optimally accelerated. This is the basic requirement for a high surface yield.
 Venturi Nozzles
 The use of long Venturi jet nozzles is highly recommended because they optimally increase the speed and therefore the impact energy of the grain, which leads to maximum surface yield. To avoid pressure drops and unnecessary material waste, regularly check the nozzle for wear and replace if necessary.
