PANBLAST vegetable abrasive gr.40
MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITY 25 KG
The corncob is an integral part of the cob and its natural function is to support the kernels.
Corn cobs are mostly collected in seed processing and production plants because they are easily biodegradable and, with today's collection system, they end up on the ground and rot.
Once collected, the cob is subjected to grinding and calibration (selection of different granulometries). From this process two products are obtained: the granules (heavy part) derived from the crown of the cob and the flours (light part) derived from the external parts and the pith.
The main applications of the granules are: polishing and smoothing of metal objects, sandblasting of wood.Pan Blast allows for completely eco-friendly shot blasting that does not cause health problems for the operator.
Given their elasticity, the granules do not shatter on impact, and this characteristic makes them not only reusable (with special sheets placed on the ground), but above all indispensable where normal sandblasting would cause irreparable damage (such as the woolly effect on wood, caused by inert silica granules).
The equipment normally used for sandblasting is well suited to the use of this product also because the operator does not have the problem of inert silica granules that can cause silicosis.
Vegetable abrasive PANBLAST GR.40
Sandblasting can be done in a more or less marked way, consequently the consumption of product depends on the type of result you want to obtain.
With 20 kg of product you can clean 5 to 10 m2 of surface, consumption varies depending on how much dirt there is to remove.
With a 6 mm nozzle, approximately 160 kg per hour is consumed, while with a 9 mm nozzle, approximately 300 kg per hour is consumed at a pressure of 6-7 atm.
To clean a painted wooden ceiling you need approximately 4 kg of product per m2.
